Mrs. George B. Davis
On Saturday, Mary Ella, wife of Geo. B. Davis, died at the age of 43 years.  
She was a daughter of Robert and the late Martha Gillespie, and lived at Lewis 
Mils, above Downingtown.

DAVIS- In West Nantmeal township, on April 7, 1906, Mary Ella, wife of Geo. C. 
(sic) Davis, aged 43.  Relatives and friend of the family are respectfully 
invited to attend the funeral without further notice from he late residence, 
at Lewis’ Mills on Wednesday, April 11, 1906. Meet at the house at 10 o’clock 
a.m.  Services at St. Mark’s P.E. Church at 11 am.  Interment in adjoining 
cemetery.  Carriages will meet 9 a.m. train at Lewis’ Mills, D&L R.R.
 

Additional Comments:
(note:  St. Mark’s sits on a hill known as Church Hill.  Because of the close 
proximity of Lancaster County, that could have been confused)
