Parents: late Harrison and Sara (Ralston) Deery.
Education: 1925 graduate of Phoenixville High School.  Attended the Pottstown Business School.
Occupation: Farmer and Mechanics National Bank and Southeast National Bank, retiried in 1973.  
            Driver for the American Red Cross.
Memberships:  officer of the Phoenixville Area United Fund and a member of the executive 
              committee of Chester County Bankers' Association.  Board of directors of the 
              Margaret Baker Fund.  Spring-Ford country Club; the Phoenixville Rotary Club, 
              where he served as president from 1966 to 1967; the Phoenix Lodge No 75 Free 
              and Accepted Masons; Jerusalem Commandary No 15, Knights Templars, Tall Cedars, 
              Spring city Forest No 34, the Lehigh Consistory, Rajah Temple of Reading, 
              Brandywine Shrine Club, Knights of the York Cross of Honor, and the Delval 
              Council No 60, Allied Masonic Degrees.  He was a 32nd degree Mason.
Religion: St. Peter's Episcopal Church where he served on the church vestry, 
Survived by: His widow, one son and two grandsons.
