Mrs. Annie E. Deverter
Following a year’s illness, Mrs. Annie E. Deverter, wife of Albert Deverter, 
died at her home 518 Chestnut Street, on Thursday morning.  Mrs. Deverter was a 
native of Coatesville, and had spent her entire life in this city.  She was the 
daughter or Ezekial (sic) and Maria Hamilton.  Besides her husband, she is 
survived by one brother, John Hamilton.  Another brother, William H. Hamilton 
died four weeks ago.  Mrs. Deverter was a life-long member of Olivet M.E. 
Church and until recently was very active in church work. The funeral will take 
place from her late home on Monday afternoon at two o’clock.  Interment will be 
private in Fairview Cemetery.
