He was a wheelwright by trade and for many years has his place of business on West Barnard Street. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He leaves to mourn his loss three sons; T Ellsworth, Thomas B and Harry Y also a sister Mrs. Priscilla Fulton, of North Walnut Street. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from his late residence, 123 East Union Street, on Monday the 23rd inst. Meet at the house at 2:30 o'clock p.m. Interment at Greenmount Cemetery. Daily Local West Chester, Pennsylvania October 24 1922 The funeral of Thomas J Eavenson took place yesterday from his late residence 123 East Union Street, and was largely attended by relatives and friends and speaking by the Rev Elbert N Huff. The pallbearers were Winfield Eavenson, Warren Eavenson, Harvey Eavenson, Thomas Eavenson Jr, Taylor Hill and Archie Carson. The body was laid to rest in Greenmount Cemetery.
