Ennis, Phoenixville, has received official notification that her husband, Louis H. Ennis, a member of Battery C, was killed in action in France on October 30. Mr. Ennis volunteered for service last summer, enlisting in an Engineer Corps. He was sent to Camp Hancock, where he was transferred to Battery C. He took great interest in foot ball and was one of the star players on Union Club foot ball team. Mr. Ennis is survived by his widow, father, Harry Ennis, of High Street, Phoenixville and three brothers, Edward F., Harry and George.
