GEORGE ENTRIKEN

Following an illness of several months George Entriken passed away at noon 
yesterday at the home of his sister Miss Esther R Entriken Landenberg. He 
was in his 43rd year.

The deceased was born January 14 1898 at Sugartown, Willistown Township a 
son of Mrs. Anna H Entriken of Landenberg and the George Entriken formerly 
of Westtown. For ten years he conducted a store at Milltown, later living 
for a time in Florida. He came to Landenberg last April.

Surviving him are his wife, the Former Clarinda Van Loon, Wilkes Barre and 
the following sisters and brothers: Esther R of Landenberg; J Rogers of 
Oregon; Nellie B of New York; Ann wife of John R Hollinger, of Atlantic 
City; Marian wife of Silas E Dubbel of Huntington, Pa; Lillian wife f 
Vernon Brown of New York City' Dr J Norman Entriken, Kennett Square, and 
Roberta wife of Walter Townsend of Hartford, Conn.

The deceased possessed a genital disposition and had many friends in the 
locality.


Entriken – At Landenberg, on Friday October 17 1941, George, husband of 
Clarinda v Entriken in his 44th year.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral at 
the Harold A Famous Funeral Home, 101 S Church Street, West Chester, Pa on 
Monday October 20 at 2 p m. Interment in Oaklands Cemetery. Friends may 
call Sunday Evening
