She was the widow of John Entriken who died some forty years ago in Mifflin County, Pa, and was the sister of the late John and James Sweeney, who resided in West Chester. Although deceased had nearly reached her seventy-ninth year, until prostrated by illness she retained the lively and social disposition which characterized her early womanhood, at which period of her life she was full of animation, rendering her a "bright, particular star" in all social gatherings. Almost until the last she retained a cheerful manner and was especially fond of seeing young persons assembled in innocent and joyous social companionship. She was of a deeply religious nature and showed by her manners that to be truly devout was not inconsistent with a happy and cheerful disposition.
