He had been suffering from tuberculosis for nine years, having been compelled to relinquish a position at that time at the Sharples' seperator plant, where he had been employed for several years. Since then he had been able to be about, but suffered at all times. Last evening he enjoyed an automobile ride and was taken sick soon after returning home, death ensuing within a short time after the attack. He leaves a widow, who is an employee of the National Bank of Chester County, this place. There are no children. Ewing had been a member of the West Chester Pioneer Corps for many years, and also o the local lodge of Elks, in both of which he took a live interest while in health.
