After an illness of three weeks with the grip, Mrs. Bernard FINEGAN died last evening at 7:25 o’clock at her home on Magnolia street, aged about 75 years. Deceased is survived by a husband, who has been critically ill for some time, and by the following children: James FINEGAN, Thomas FINEGAN, John FINEGAN, Frank FINEGAN and Miss Ellie FINEGAN, the last living at home. Mrs. FINEGAN was a sister of John CALDWELL, who died a few years ago, and was born in Ireland, coming to this country about 54 years ago when quite a young woman. Her marriage took place in 1849. She was a kind- hearted, thrifty woman, and until three years ago lived with her family on their fine farm near Green Hill. Her husband is a brother of James FINEGAN, one of the oldest businessmen of this place, and of Patrick FINEGAN, a tipstaff of the court here. Deceased was a faithful member of St. Agnes’ Roman Catholic Church. Notice of the funeral appears in another column.
