He had enjoyed good health until a week ago, and had been in complete possession of his faculties. Mr. FINEGAN was born in Chester County, a son of the late Barney and Catherine FINEGAN, and had spent his entire life here. In early life, he was a farmer, conducting farms in West Whiteland and West Goshen Townships. For the past thirty-five years he had lived in West Chester. He was a member of the Good Will Fire Company and St. Agnes’ Church. His wife, formerly Miss Catherine GANNON, is deceased. Four sons, Thomas Jr., Frank, John and William, and a daughter, Catherine, widow of Oscar REED, all of West Chester, survive. Four children are deceased. There are eighteen grand- children and two great-grandchildren. A granddaughter, Sister M. Agnes, is a member of the Order of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Two grandsons are serving in the United States Army, John F. FINEGAN being connected with the aviation corps at Chanute, Illinois, while Edward J. FINEGAN is a member of the 32d Infantry, stationed at Camp Spartansburg, S.C. A brother, John FINEGAN, of West Chester, also survives.
