Walter M. Fisher
Walter M. Fisher Sr., 318 Highland Ave., Downingtown, husband of Hattie M. 
Lindsay (sic s/b Lindsley) Fisher, died yesterday in Chester County Hospital.  
He was 85.

Born in Sadsbury, he was a son of the late Benjamin and Ella Cain Fisher, and 
had lived in Downingtown for 33 years. Mr. Fisher, a textile foreman, retired 
from the Nice Yarn Co., Downingtown, in 1949 after 30 years with the firm.  He 
attended the First Baptist Church of Downingtown.

Surviving besides his wife are two sons, George W., of Downingtown, and Walter 
M. Jr., of Paoli; a brother, Benjamin of Aston Mills, as sister, Mrs. Ella King 
of Lansdowne, seven grand children and 24 great grandchildren.

Chester County Hospital, Walter M. Fisher, Sr., husband of Hattie M. Lindsley 
Fisher in his 86th year of age.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the 
funeral at the Ralph W. Ralston Funeral Home, 107 W. Lancaster Ave., 
Downingtown, Pa., on Saturday, May 10, 1969 at 2:00 p.m.  Interment Hopewell 
Methodist Cemetery.  Friends are invited to call at the funeral home Friday 
evening.

Funeral services for Walter M. Fisher, Sr., husband of Hattie M. Lindsley 
Fisher, of 318 Highland Ave., Downingtown, were held Saturday from the Ralph W. 
Ralston Funeral Home, Downingtown.  Officiating was the Rev. Richard G. Green 
Jr., pastor of the First Baptist Church, Downingtown.

Interment was in Hopewell United Methodist Cemetery.  Bearers were Walter H. 
Fisher, William and A.A. Politta, Frank McCormick, Raymond Fry, and Donald 
Rodeback.
