Freeman, was suddenly stricken with paralysis, from the effects of which he died about 2 o’clock this morning. Mr. Freeman had been a resident of this place for quite a number of years, during which time he carried on the business of a jeweler. The last two or three years of his life he had been unable to attend to his business on account of the ill-effects of a paralytic stroke had at that time. He was an active member of the M.E. Church of this place and his loss will be felt by a large circle of friends. He was in the 55th year of his age. Daily Local News, February 14, 1878 FREEMAN- On Tuesday, the 12th inst., of paralysis, Henry B. Freeman, in the 55th year of his age. Friends and relatives are requested to attend the funeral without further notice, on Friday, the 15 inst., meet at the house at 2 o’clock p.m. Interment at Greenmount Cemetery. Additional Comments: His jewelry business was on Market Street and then on Church Street, West Chester, Pa. He sold watches, then added eyewear, and then added photography.
