David Garner, an aged resident of Phoenixville, who made his home with his
daughter, Mrs. Joseph Turner, of 235 Washington Ave., died yesterday morning, at
the age of eighty seven years, the direct cause of his death being injuries and
severe shock, following a fall down stairs on Friday afternoon last, in which he
sustained a compound fracture of the right forearm, a cut on the forehead and
severe bruises.
Mr. Garner leaves to survive him three children, they being Mrs. Josephine
Turner, with whom he made his home, Harry Garner, and Eli Garner.
