Coatesville Record, November 6, 1940

Tragedy struck suddenly late yesterday afternoon in Drumpelier.  Little six-
year-old Frank Glading 3d, was fatally crushed under the wheels of an 
automobile on Stirling street n the Eleventh-Rwelfth (sic) avenue block where 
he and several companions, one of them the son of the woman who was driving the 
car, were playing football.  The boy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Glading, Jr., 
of 1439 Olive Street, died at 7:1 o’clock in Coatesville hospital, a little 
more than two hours after the unfortunate accident.
