Mrs. Laura (Buchanan) Glass, widow of Heber I. Glass, died yesterday in the home 
of her son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. J. Clair Glass in Joanna Heights. 
Born in Chester Co., she was the daughter of the late James and Rachel (Supplee) 
Buchanan. She was a member of the Harmony Methodist Church, Joanna. Her husband 
died 39 years ago. Surviving are a son J. Clair with whom she resided , 8 
grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 sisters Bessie Burkhart, Mohnton; and 
Kathryn wife of Elmer Sherman, Kenhorst. Services on Monday Dec 15 at 2 pm in 
Harmony Methodist Church, the Rev Eugene H. Snyder and Bishop C. Kurtz 
officiating. Burial in the adjoining Cemetery. Shalkop funeral home, Birdsboro in 
charge.
