"WILLIE ANN GRAY- On Sunday, August 12th, at the residence of Edward Hoopes, in 
West Grove, Willie Ann White, wife of John Gray, in her 80th year,after an 
illness of over three years,being confined to her room twenty-one months,being a 
patient,Christian sufferer. She was the youngest and last surviving of ten 
children born to James and Rachel White, of Grove,Chester County. She is 
survived by her husband and two children: Davis, of Modena, and Elizabeth 
Hoopes, of near West Grove,where she has resided for the last three years.She 
formerly resided for thirty-nine years in New Garden."

"GRAY- Near West Grove, on Sunday, August 12th,1906, Willie Ann Gray,, in her 
80th year.

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral without 
further notice at New Garden Meeting House on Wednesday,August 15th, at 12 
o'clock.Carriages will meet the 11:07 trolley at Toughkenamon,Pa."


"The funeral of Willie Ann Gray, took place on Wednesday, at New Garden Friends' 
Burying Ground. Relatives from Modena, Parkesburg,Downingtown, West Chester, and 
Wilmington were in attendance. Kindly words were spoken by Pennock Spencer, 
Rev.Henry Martin, George Meyers and W.Passmore Hoopes."
