James Greer of 325 St. Mary’s St., husband of Elizabeth Rohaly Greer, died 
suddenly this morning while at work at the Boiler Engineering and Supply co., 
Inc., Phoenixville.  He was 62

Born and raised in Phoenixville he was the son of the late James and Emma 
Fulmer Greer. He attended the local schools and was a member of St. Mary’s 
Church and the Friendship Fire Company.  Besides his widow he is survived by 
three sons and four daughters: James V., Phoenixville; Thomas, Norristown; 
Donald, at home; Evelyn, wife of Jacob Mihl (sic s/b Mikl), Frazer; Elizabeth, 
wife of Louis Sparano; Margaret, wife of David White; and Marlene, wife of 
Ralph Kappenstein, all of Phoenixville.
Also surviving are one sister, Catherine Greer of Pottstown and 22 
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 22, at 9:30am from the Devlin 
Rosmos Funeral Home, Main St., at Fourth Ave.

Solemn requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church.  Burial 
will be in St. Mary’s cemetery.  Friends may call Monday evening at the funeral 
home.
