Greer, No. 18 Fairview Terrace, a former well known boiler maker, was found dead suffering from a heart ailment for several years but had appeared as well as usual when he retired on Thursday night. He was 65 years of age. Mr. Greer was a son of the late Henry and Bridget Greer and was born in Allentown. He had been a resident of Phoenixville for about 50 years. For a number of years hew was a boiler maker for the Heine Boiler Co. For several years he had been employed at the Protectory at Fatland. Mr. Greer was a member of St. Mary’s Church and the Loyal Order of Moose. He is survived by his wife and four children, James P. Greer, Jr., of St. Mary’s Street, Harry Greer, o f Bridgeport, Conn., and Catherine and Naomi Greer, at home, and by one brother, Thomas Greer of Coatesville, and sixteen grandchildren. The funeral will be held from his late residence, No. 18 Fairview Terrace, on Tuesday morning at 9 ‘clock. High Requiem Mass at St. Mary’s Church at 10 o’clock. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday evening.
