A passenger in the Greer car, John George Burns, 19, Bridge St., Montclair, escaped the demolished car without injury. The accident happened at 12:30am. Greer, the son of James and Elizabeth Greer, was dead on arrival at the Memorial Hospital of Pottstown. He died of a fractured skull and internal injuries. Greer was taken to the hospital in the Royersford ambulance. Surviving Greer, who worked for the West Co., Phoenixville, are his parents, four sisters, Ellen (sic s/b Evelyn), Mrs. Jacob Mikl, Frazer; Elizabeth, Mrs. Louis Sparano, Phoenixville; Margaret, Mrs. David White, Phoenixville; and Marlene, Mrs. Ralph Kappenstein, Phoenixville, and three brothers, James Jr, and Donald, at home and Thomas, Bridgeport.
