Greer Verda Taylor Greer, wife of Quincy H. Greer, died at her Fulton Twp. (Lancaster County) home Sunday morning. She suffered pneumonia. She was 68. She was born in Ore Knob, N.C., daughter of the late Felix and Sarah Bare Taylor. She was a member of Christian Baptist Church, Toliver, N.C. She is survived by her husband, three sons, Roy, Oxford; Worth at home and John, Peach Bottom; four daughters, Myrtle, wife of Floyd Roark, Nottingham, Mae, wife of George McFlothlin, Jacksonville, Fla.; Louise, wife of Ralph McFlothlin, Mt. Vernon, Va., and Ruth, wife of Alfred Benjamin, Conowingo, Md., 28 grand children, nine great grandchildren. Three brothers, Walter, Nottingham; Charles, Boone, N.C., and Edward, Nottingham, and one sister, Minnie, wife of James Moore, Conowingo, Md. Ibid: GREER- In Fulton Township, Lancaster County, Verda L., wife of Quincy H. Greer, aged 68 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral from the Cauffman Funeral Home, 172 Pine St., Oxford, Pa, on Wednesday, Nov. 17, at 3 P.M. Interment in Penn Hill Friends Burial Grounds. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9.
