          SUDDEN DEATH -- ADAM GUTHRIE, aged 67 years, died suddenly
      of apoplexy at the residence of his son, near Chatham, on Friday last.
      While dressing to attend the funeral of a deceased neighbor, JOHN
      SPEAKMAN, he fell upon the bed in his room and died apparently
      without a struggle. He was thus found by members of the family, who
      wondered at his delay.
