JOHN E. HALLMAN Mrs. Ella H. Hallman, 69, wife of John E. Hallman, of 242 First Avenue, died at her late residence before midnight last night, following a lingering illness. Death of Mrs. Hallman, who had been ill for the past several months was due to complications. Her husband operates a taxi service here. Mrs. Hallman was born in West Pikeland Township, daughter of the late Rebecca Stauffer Fagley and David Fagley, but had resided in this borough for the past 45 years. She was a member of the Pikeland Lutheran Church and upon moving to Phoenixville joined the Central Lutheran Church. Besides her husband, Mrs. Hallman is survived by a daughter, Margaret E. at home, and two brothers, Christian H. Fagley, or Lansdale, and Phillip Fagley, of 252 First Avenue. Funeral services will be held at her late residence, 241 First Avenue, Tuesday, September 17, at 2:30 p.m. Friends may call Monday evening from 7 to 9. Interment will be made at Morris Cemetery.
