Hampton, in his 58th year. Friends and relatives and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, March 9, 1922, at 2 o’clock, at the funeral parlors of John Thorp. Interment at Greenmount Cemetery. March 10, 1922 The funeral of the late Frank M. Hampton, of Philadelphia, a former resident of West Chester, took place yesterday afternoon in the Thorp parlors, and was attended by a large number of relatives and friends. He was for many years a member of West Chester Lodge, No. 42, I.O.O.F., which organization held a special meeting, when eulogistic remarks to the memory of the departed brother were made by Joseph Parker, George Dale, James Knox, George B. McCormick and others, after which the Lodgemen proceeded in body to the Thorp parlors. The services were conducted by Rev. Grover C. Walters, pastor of the Goshen Baptist Church, after which the funeral rites of the Odd Fellows ere conducted by Noble Grand S.T. Smith and Chaplain James Knox. The body reposed in a solid mahogany casket around which were many beautiful floral offerings. Interment was made in Greenmount Cemetery, and the appall bearers were Stephen T. Smith, Elmer Rodebaugh, Herman J. Smith, George B. McCormick. Relatives were present from various sections of the county.
