Hampton In the Chester County Hospital, at 9 o’clock last evening, Frank P. Hampton, of West Chester, passed away, aged 77 years. He had been ill for several weeks. Mr. Hampton was born at Exton, a son of the late Eber and Susan Staddon Hampton. He was a mechanic by trade, and had worked for different firms in this borough. He was twice married, his first wife being the former Sara E. Lewis. Two sons by this marriage survive, George S., of Coatesville, and Frank P., Jr., of Philadelphia. There are four grandchildren. Two sisters also survive, Mrs. Ida Foster, of West Chester, and Mrs. Bertha Lowery, of Parkesburg. He was a member of the West Chester Pioneer Corps, No. 1, and the Patriotic Order Sons of America. ------------------------------------ Daily Local News, July 21, 1943 HAMPTON- In Chester County Hospital, on July 19, Frank P. Hampton, in the 78th year of his age. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from the Hicks Funeral Home, 229 S. High St., West Chester, on Thursday, July 22, at 2 p.m. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday evening.
