Hibbard In Chester yesterday, Hannah M. Hibbard, widow of Preston Hibbard, died in her 76th year. She was a daughter of Edward and Mary Ann (Yarnall) Weir, and was the second wife of Preston Hibbard, his first wife having been her sister. A kinsman, Earl Weir, lives in West Chester. Her marriage took place September 22d, 1860. For a number of years the family lived in Chester and later on a farm at White Horse, Willistown township, and her body will be buried at Willistown Friend’s Burying Grounds. Three sons survive: John and Edward Hibbard, of Chester, and Joseph Iliff Hibbard, of the Thomas D. Wood farm, Newtown Square. Ibid: HIBBARD- In Chester, Pa., on the 27th inst., Hannah M. Hibbard, wife of the late Treston (sic) Hibbard, in her 76th year. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday, March 3, 1917, at 1.30 o’clock p.m., at Willistown Friends’ Burying Ground. Daily Local News, March 1, 1917 Hannah M. Hibbard Hanna M. Hibbard, who had been in failing health for some years, passed peacefully way in her 76th year, on Tuesday, at her home in Chester, after an illness of nine weeks. She was the widow of the late Preston Hibbard, of Willistown, where she passed the greater part of her life. She was a kind and loving disposition, and a conscientious Christian, beloved by all who knew her. She was a devoted mother. She leaves to mourn her loss four sons, namely: John, at home; Edward, of Chester; Joseph Iiff, of Newtown Square; Harrison, of Doylestown, Bucks County, and eleven grandchildren. A son, William, is deceased.
