He was taken critically ill on Tuesday of last week and was at once removed to the hospital for operative treatment, but was too sick to recover. He is survived by his wife, baby son, James, Jr., daughter, Ruth and a stepson, Harold Zook, and the following brothers and sisters: David, of Bareville; George, of Compass; Mrs. George Fennimore, of Kinzer, Lancaster County, and Estelle, who is doing missionary work in Africa.
