John High, aged 78 years, died on Monday evening at eleven o’clock, in 
Christiana, from complication of disease.  He has been ill for several years, 
but only confined to the house about a month.  He was a resident of that 
borough for twenty-four years.  Deceased was a member of the G.A.R, of 
Christiana; Company F. Pennsylvania Volunteers during the Civil War.  He is 
survived by a wife and four children: Miss Anna High, at home; Mrs. Wm. 
Hamilton, Norwood; John High, Norwood; Harry High, Christiana.

HIGH- In Christiana, Pa., on April 23, 1917, John High, aged 78 years.  
Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral services on Thursday, April 
26, 1917, at 2 o’clock p.m.  Interment at Bellevue Cemetery, Gap.
