Morning Republican, January 28, 1898
On Wednesday morning, Jacob High, an aged and highly respected citizen of East 
Vincent township, died, aged about ten (sic) years, at his homestead, near the 
Hill Churches.  He is survived by a wife and three children, viz: Annie, wife 
of J. William Kulp, who farms the home farm; Flora, wife of John Leckard, of 
Wilsen’s Corner, and Lily, wife of Ira Overdorf, of Brownback Church.  
Deceased was twice married and was a faithful and consistent member of the 
East Vincent Reformed Church, nearby.
