The remains of the late Jacob High, of near Pughtown, were peacefully laid to 
rest yesterday in the cemetery attached to the Pughtown Baptist Church.  The 
funeral services, which were held in the church, were conducted by Rev. A.L. 
Shalkop, pastor of the Methodist Church of Nantmeal Village.  The Pall-bearers 
were George Dunlap, Levi Keim, Franklin Knauer, George Fox, Lewis Pirches and 
Lewis Pike.  Among the floral tributes was a sheaf of wheat from his brother 
and a bunch of carnations from his daughter.   The funeral was attended by a 
large number of former friends.
