Chester County Historical Society, Clippings file
DIED: Tuesday, May 4th, 1909, Margaret L. Highfield, aged 81 years.  Funeral 
on Friday, May 7th, to meet at Hockessin Friends Meeting House at two P.M.  
Interment in the adjoining Burying Ground.  Carriages will meet trolleys at 
Hockessin, Leaving Kennett Square and Brandywine Springs at 12 o’clock.

This is a professionally printed funeral announcement card, not a newspaper 
obituary.  The card is part of the CCHS clippings file and was likely mailed 
or hand delivered to invitees.

Estate of Margaret L. Highfield, late of Kennett Township, deceased.
Letters of administration on the above estate having been granted to the
undersigned, all persons indebted to the said estate are requested to
make payment, and those3 having claims to present the same, without
delay to Lewis Q. Highfield, Administrator, Kennett Square, R.F.D., Pa.
Gheen and Parke, Attys.
