Hill In Philadelphia this morning John H. Hill, who had long been connected with the Pennsylvania Railroad, died in his 60th year. A week ago today he was 59 years old. He had been a conductor in the yard at 52nd street, but some time ago had an operation, and since that had been working in another capacity at the same post of duty. Mr. Hill was a son of the late Joseph F. Hill of West Chester, formerly of West Whiteland, who served as County Commissioner and afterward for many years as clerk to the County Commissioners. John is survived by his wife, formerly Anna Brown, of this borough, and a son, Joseph, and two daughters, Mary, who is single, and Ella, wife of Albert Pedrick. There are also two brothers and a sister, William S. Hill, Borough Auditor in West Chester, Josph F. Hill, receiving teller in the National Bank of Chester County, and Mrs. Belle Baily of Philadelphia. O.O.F.; Uppowoc Tribe, No. 47, Imp. O. of R. M., of West Chester, and Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, are invited to attend the funeral services on Friday at 8 p. m. at his late residence, 1528 North 55th street, Philadelphia. Interment at Grove Cemetery, Chester County, Pa.
