Montgomery Ledger, Pottstown- 9/12/1876 edition
Henry Hipple, formerly a resident of Birchrunville, Chester county, was killed 
on the Penna. Railroad, at Hestonville, on Wednesday last.  He was at his post 
of duty at the time numbering the cars, when the locomotive backed and Mr. H 
was caught between the bumpers and instantly crushed to death.   He leaves a 
wife and one child to mourn his untimely death. His remains were interred on 
Sunday, from the residence of his brother, in Birchrunville.
