All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ Daily Local West Chester Pennsylvania September 6 1926 B Frank Hoffman At his home in Upper Uwchlan Township at an early hour this morning, B Frank Hoffman a well-known farmer, died at the age of 57 years following a stroke of apoplexy sustained at noon on Saturday last. He was born a son of John R and Mary A Hoffman and had lived in that township throughout his life. He married Mary Ralston daughter of H Frank and Elmira Ralston, and is survived by her and by two sons, John and Paul at home. A brother H B Hoffman is manager of Eagle Farms, at Eagle and there are two sister, Elizabeth and May Hoffman who have made their home with their deceased brother. Mr Hoffman was a member of St Matthew's Reformed church, serving as a member of the Board of Trustees and as President of the Mite Society. He was a former student at the West Chester State Normal School a contemporary of Dr Daniel G Snyder of West Chester; Maurice R Darlington of Pomeroy and others. Hoffman – Suddenly in Upper Uwchlan on Sept 6 B Frank Hoffman in the 57th year of his age. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from his late residence on Thursday Sept 9. All services at the house at 2 o'clock p m, standard time. Interment at St Matthew's Reformed church Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday evening.
