Hoskins. who departed this life March 25, 1912, aged 6 years and 6 months.- Parents and Brother. Daily Local News March 26, 1912 Mortality from typhoid fever continues in Coatesville. Another death occurred last night at the Coatesville Hospital. Mildred, the 6 year old daughter of Herford Hoskins, 231 First Avenue, succumbed at 9 o'clock, following an illness of about five weeks. Daily Local News March 29, 1912 HOSKINS-In Coatesvile. on March 25, Mildred G., daughter of Herford and Nellie Hoskins, in the 7th year of her age. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from the residence of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Quaintance, Lionville, on Friday, March 29, 1912. Meet at the house at 2 o'clock p.m. Body can be viewed at her late home, 231 S. First Avenue, Coatesville, on Thursday evening from 7 to 8 o'clock. Carriages will meet 8.03 train from Philadelphia at Whitford. Daily Local News March 30, 1912 The funeral of Mildred, the six year old daughter of Herford and Nellie Hoskins, of Coatesville, took place late this Friday afternoon at the home of her grandparents in our village. Daily Local News April 1, 1912 MILDRED HOSKINS' FUNERAL The funeral of Mildred G. Hoskins, a bright little six-year old daughter of Herford and Nellie Hoskins, of South First Avenue, Coatesville, occurred March 29th, 1912. The little body rested in a beautiful white plush casket covered and surrounded with many handsome floral tokens from relatives and fiends. Among them were a beautiful pillow from her parents, a wreath from her brother, another wreath from the boys at Bonsall's garage and a large wax wreath from neighbors. Mrs. C.L. Huston sent a large bunch of carnations and roses. The nurses of the hospital were the little ones died sent a large tribute of respect also the primary department of the M.E. Sunday School, of which Mildred was a member, sent a beautiful bouquet of carnations. There were also many other flowers from Philadelphia, Downingtown, and West Chester. The remains were viewed by many relatives and friends on Thursday evening when Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Huston spoke beautiful words of comfort and offered prayer. On Friday morning the little one was removed to her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Quaintance of Lionville, where beautiful services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. Mr. Wade of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Interment at adjoining cemetery. April 8, 1912 IN MEMORIAM In memory of Mildred G. Hoskins. who died March 25, 1912, aged 6 years, 6 months and 20 days.
