Age: In his 62nd year
Parents: late George and Phebe Hughes
Spouse: Helen D. Hughes
Survivied by: three daughters, Phyllis, wife of Herbert Buckley, of Downingtown; 
              Phebe, wife of John Thomas Peterson, West Chester; and Dorothy, wife
              of William H. James, at home.  There are two grand children.  Two 
              sisters, Ida, wife of the late J. Max. Meyer, and Ena, wife of 
              Irwin G. Regan, of West Chester also survive.  The late Benjamin S. 
              Hughes of West Chester was a brother.
Funeral: Hicks Funeral Home, 229 High St, West Chester, Nov. 29  
Interment: Greenmount Cemetery
