Daily Local West Chester Pennsylvania June 7 1886 A large funeral – One of the largest funerals that have taken place around Unionville for many years was that of Clara wife of Harry Ingram. It took place from the resident of her father Joshua Wickersham. Between one and two hundred carriages followed the remains to Unionville Cemetery, where they were laid to rest. Robert Smith of Embreeville at the request of the deceased while living spoke at the house and offered up an appropriate and fervent prayer. Four young ladies sang in a soft and low voice a favorite hymn of the departed. She was an estimable woman a kind neighbor loving wife and fond mother. The sympathy of a host of friends went out to the bereaved husband and the four motherless children as they took their last look at the face of their nearest and dearest on earth. The funeral took place on Friday.
