All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ Daily Local West Chester Pennsylvania August 18 1919 Col Charles H Ingram Col Charles H Ingram eldest son of the late C Marshall Ingram died on Saturday morning in the Long Island Hospital Brooklyn New York. Mr Ingram had been in splendid health up to about five months ago, when he contracted a severe cold while on a business trip through the West and never recovered. He was a U S Revenue Agent and had been in charge of most of the large divisions in the United States. He is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Robert Dyer of New York; Mrs. George W Hight of Nashville Tenn; Mrs. Frank Thornton West of Richmond Virginia and a sister Miss Lena C Ingram of Avondale, having lost his wife two years ago. Mrs. Ingram's body has been in a vault in Woodlawn Cemetery New York and both will be brought to West Chester tomorrow where they will be interred in a double grave in the family lot at Greenmount. Daily Local West Chester Pennsylvania August 20 1919 The bodies of colonel and Mrs. Charles H Ingram were brought here yesterday and interred in Greenmount Cemetery, services being conducted by Rev Jay Dickerson pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church. The daughters of Colonel and Mrs. Ingram were here also Miss Lena C Ingram a sister who has been staying in New York.
