All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ Daily Local West Chester, Pennsylvania September 25 1939 NORRIS S INGRAM Norris S Ingram, well-known resident of West Chester, died in the Chester county Hospital on Sunday morning at 9:30 following a brief illness. He was taken sick on Friday, and taken to the hospital the following morning. Mr. Ingram was born in West Chester, a son of the late Frederick and Marion Chamberlain Ingram. He married Miss Ada Heald, a daughter of the late Franklin Heald, whose death occurred several years ago. He entered the former Farmer's' National Bank of West Chester as a clerk, and following the organization of the Farmers and Mechanics Trust Company rose to the position of Cashier. When the Farmers and Mechanics Trust Company merged with the Chester County Trust Company, he continued in an official position. In recent years he had been retired. Two brothers, Frank, North Church Street, and Albert M, a twin West Miner Street, survive. He was a member of West Chester Lodge, No 322 F & A M. Ingram- in West Chester, on September 24, 1939, Norris S Ingram. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at his late residence, 320 West Barnard Street, on Wednesday, the 27th inst., at 2 o'clock. Interment at Green Mount Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
