He had been in good health but recently developed an attack of pneumonia, which caused his death. Ingram was for years a member of Company J, N G P of this place in which he rose to the rank of corporal and was one of the best rifle shots, taking park in many matches and winning a number of prizes. He was a son of James Ingram of East Bradford and had many friends. Daily Local West Chester Pennsylvania April 15 1909 T LINCOLN INGRAM At the age of forty years, T Lincoln Ingram son of James A Ingram, East Bradford, died yesterday at Tres Pinos, California, where he had been at work with his brother Eugene. He was single and for some time had been in poor health. Formerly he served with credit as a corporal in Co I N G P and during the Spanish American War enlisted with that company in the regular service. Later he was on duty at League Island. During the war he contracted typhoid fever from which he never fully recovered and on this account he received a pension. He belonged to the West Chester Fire Company and the Jr O U A M. Two brothers Howard and Eugene survive him.
