Personal research; summarized from various sources
Mary (Mae) Hampton Beecher Jackson, age 30, passed away at Chester County 
Hospital from complications of childbirth, 10 days after deliverying her 
daughter, Grace. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by husband John 
T. Jackson and two sons, Lawrence and Joseph, as well as a daughter, Helen, 
and son, Harold, from a previous marriage to the late Herbert Beecher of 
Coatesville. She was the daughter of Eber Hampton and the late Helen Wood 
Hampton and a sister, Grace Hampton, also survives. She had lived on West 
Chestnut St., West Chester, for the last several years having been raised in 
East Whiteland Township. Interment is in Greenmount Cemetery after services 
from the Smith Funeral Home.
