Jackson After a lingering illness of nearly a year’s duration, William A. Jackson whose home is on the Strasburg Road, just west of the borough limits, died in the Homeopathic Hospital, at 2:25 o’clock this morning. He was in the 70th year of his age. He had been seriously ill for a number of months prior to his death. Born in Virginia, Mr. Jackson came to West Chester when but a young man and lived the greater part of his life here. For about two score years he was an employe at the Hoopes Brothers & Darlington Wheel Works here. He was well- liked by his fellow workers and in fact by all who knew him, being of a genial and upright character. The deceased is survived by his widow, four sons, Robert, Thomas, William and Marcus, all of West Chester, and one daughter, Hazel, also of this place. A number of grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive.
