James, wife of Charles M. James, owner of the mill at Coventryville, Chester co., died on Thursday evening at the Jefferson College Hospital, Philadelphia, from the effects of a surgical operation. She had an ovarian tumor removed by the Professors at the College on Saturday, June 28th, and her condition was such, after the operation that the strongest hopes were entertained of her recovery, but the sad news was received here on Friday of her decease. Mrs. James was a daughter of the late William Ibach, and a sister of Hiram Ibach, of Pottstown. She was an excellent woman, beloved as a wife and mother and neighbor and friend by her immediate family and all who knew her.
