He suffered a stroke about three years ago which was followed by two others and the third one caused his death. His home was on South Fifth avenue. Mr. JOHNSON had lived in Coatesville for many years and was a long time employee of the Bethlehem Steel company. He also worked for the Worth Steel company at Claymont for a time. He had been retired for several years. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Elanora JOHNSON, and the following sons and daughters: Miss Emma JOHNSON, Ohio; Mrs. Charles FULLER and Mrs. Maggie MILLER, Delaware county; Philip JOHNSON and Horace JOHNSON, Claymont; and Walter JOHNSON and Luther JOHNSON, Coatesville; and a step-son, Earl SENSMAN, of West Chester. The funeral will take place on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Landis Funeral Home in this city. Interment will be in FAIRVIEW cemetery.
