          JOHNSON--At his residence, on South Church street, on Friday
      morning, November 25, SAMUEL JOHNSON, aged 81 years.
          Funeral on Monday, from his late residence on South Church
      street, to meet at the house at 10 o'clock, and proceed to MALVERN.
      Interment at the BAPTIST CHURCH CEMETERY. Relatives and
      friends of the family are invited without further notice.

          SAMUEL JOHNSON, of South Church street, this borough, who
      had been ailing, for sometime past and whose death occurred on
      Friday last was one of Chester county's oldest residents. He was
      in the 81st year of his age.
