MRS. SARAH ANN JOHNSON, WIDOW OF GEORGE W. JOHNSON, OBIT 1945

                                MRS. SARAH ANN JOHNSON

          MRS. SARAH ANN JOHNSON, widow of George W. JOHNSON,
      who died Friday at her home on North Third street, was in her 93rd
      year. Her illness was painless and short. MRS. JOHNSON, the past
      40 years, has resided in Oxford. At the time of her death she was
      the oldest member of Oxford Presbyterian church. She was the 
      mother of eight children, two surviving: Mrs. Mary CRISWELL of
      Oxford, and Mrs. Kate TAYLOR of New York city; also a brother,
      DAVID MOORE of Indiana. Dr. WATSON conducted the funeral
      services on Monday afternoon; interment in the OXFORD cemetery.
