                                   STANLEY G. JOHNSON
 
          STANLEY G. JOHNSON, Whitford Road, West Goshen township,
      passed away yesterday morning in his 58th year, at the Memorial 
      Hospital, where he had been a patient for the past two weeks.
          Born in Lancaster county, a son of Harry and Emily JOHNSON,
      he was employed as a maintenance man with the I. T. E. Circuit 
      Breaker Company, Philadelphia, until his recent illness. His wife 
      CHARLOTTE HARLEY JOHNSON died on August 12th of last 
      year.
          Surviving are the following children: Walter; Beatrice, wife of
      Claude BAUGHMAN; Harry, all of West Chester; Virginia, wife of
      Carl THOMPSON, Strafford; Stanley C., at home; Wilson, Modena;
      Betty and Earl at home; and Ann, wife of Norman MESSNER,
      West Chester. There are six grandchildren. Also, two sisters, 
      Dora, wife of Leon ROOP, Kirkwood; and Mildred, wife of J.
      Merrill BOWMAN, Williamsport. A brother, Lester is deceased.

          JOHNSON.--In Memorial Hospital, on Feb. 29, STANLEY G., 
      husband of the late CHARLOTTE M. JOHNSON, in the 58th year
      of his age.
          Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the
      funeral without further notice from the Hicks Funeral Home, 
      229 S. High St., West Chester, on Thursday, March 4, at 2 p.m.
      Interment in ROSEDALE AVE. FRIENDS' BURIAL GROUNDS.
      Friends may call Wednesday evening.
