Mrs. Jones sustained a stroke last Friday. This came after years of invalidism, which followed a fall in the street, which was caused by a playful dog. A brother John Wallace, and a sister Maria, both of that place, survive. Mrs. Jones was a member of an old Scotch-Irish pioneer family and a faithful communicant in the Presbyterian Church of Parkesburg. Previous to its organization as an independent church, she belonged to Upper Octoraro, the church of her ancestors. Ibid: JONES- In Parkesburg, on June 19, 1922, Martha A. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from her late residence, on Thursday, June 22, 1922, at 11 o’clock a.m. Interment at Octoraro Cemetery.
