A Norristown special of Sunday says: Mrs. Barbara Keeley, aged 68 years, and the
wife of David Keeley, a well-known and wealthy resident of Phoenixville, died
very suddenly this morning while visiting the family of David Funk in
Norristown. She ate heartily of breakfast, and after a stroll about the garden
sat down in the porch. She was subsequently found in an unconscious condition at
the foot of the stairway leading to the 2nd floor. She died in about 2 hrs. The
physicians who were called in stated that apoplexy was the cause.
