KEEN - On the 3rd inst., in St Mary's, Chester county, Eli Keen aged about 50 years.
 
same edition:  obituaries:
Eli Keen, a prominent citizen of Warwick township, Chester county, died on Tuesday, 
Dec 3, of pulmonary disease, aged about 50 years. Deceased had been engaged in the 
store keeping business for about thirty years, and was postmaster at Warwick PO, 
located at that place since 1862.  The funeral will take place on Saturday morning 
next, at 10 o'clock.
