Daily Pottstown News, Wed., 11/13/1912:
OBITUARY Mrs. Lewis J Keen---
Ella J., wife of Lewis J. Keen, died at the family residence near Kenilworth, 
Chester County, following a four week's illness with typhoid fever, aged 44 
years, 5 months and 2 days.
Deceased was the daughter of Mary A. (nee Landis) and the late Edward B John.  
There survive besides the mother and husband, these children: Ethel, Ralph, 
Walter, Ruth, Irma, and Agnes and these brothers and sisters: William L., 
Harvey, Norman E., Frank M.,  and Amy J., wife of Rev. I C Hopsopple.
The funeral will be held on Saturday at 1 o'clock with all services at the 
house.
 
Pottstown Daily News, Thursday 11/14/1912:
DEATH - Keen - near Kenilworth, Chester Co, on the 12th inst., Ella J., wife 
of Lewis J Keen, aged 44 years, 5 months, 2 days.
The relatives and friends of the family are respectively invited to attend the 
funeral without further notice, from her late residence, near Kenilworth, on 
Saturday, November 16, at 1 PM.  All services at the house.  Interment in Mt. 
Zion Cemetery.
